Duties include but are not limited to: Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware problems in different hardware devices such as laptops, computers, iPads, watches, and tablets. Maintain, adjust, and repair a variety of hardware components in the devices such as tablets, laptops, computer monitors, and mobile phones. Disassemble devices and conduct thorough inspections to determine the exact nature of the fault in the devices. Deploy (install, configure, test) new and improved hardware to ensure smooth functionality of the devices. Install, download, and upgrade appropriate software to improve efficiency of hardware equipment. Manage and properly maintain the inventory of repair tools, parts, and components. Run comprehensive tests on devices after repairs to ensure all systems function correctly. Perform post-repair tests to verify the quality of work to ensure customer satisfaction. Provide technical guidance, advice, and assistance to customers to prevent further malfunctions, issues, and repairs. Document repair work accurately and maintain records for future reference or warranty purposes. Ensure all repairs are performed in a timely manner, meeting both quality standards and customer expectations according to OHS regulations. Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies to improve repair processes and service quality. Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Hardware Technician/Computer & Mobile phone Technician/related field. Full-time work rights are required. Skills and attributes: Reliable and hardworking nature. Great time-management skills and discipline. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Sound knowledge to deploy (install, configure, test), maintain, and repair hardware and peripherals. Ability to move shifts and be flexible. Current skills across all popular brands of computers/laptops, smartphones, and tablets. Experience working in a reputable repairer ideal. Chip-level repair skills. Troubleshooting skills.
