We're looking for a skilled Calibration Technician to join our team. In-house and traveling (field service) technicians needed at all lab locations. Opportunities for 2nd shift and weekend flex shift technicians also available at our corporate lab in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Then join our team!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Monitors, tests, calibrates, and repairs instrumentation and equipment to ensure the accuracy and precision of measurements taken.Performs in-house lab and on-site calibrations as required.Develops calibration procedures and recommends associated standards.Completes applicable documentation related to calibration and repair assignments.Ensure all required business tasks are completed in a timely and quality manner.Traveling Technicians will travel daily, supporting our local accounts with occasional overnight travel.Performs other related duties, as assigned.Hard Gage Calibration Technician: Calibrates and repairs test and measurement equipment including, but not limited to: Thread Gages, Plain Rings and Plugs, Gage Blocks, Pin Gages, Length Standards.Required Skills/Abilities:Sound critical thinking skills, a strong customer service focus, and ability to communicate via phone, email, memos, logs, etc.Strong understanding of Metrology concepts.Ability to work independently.Must have experience working with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word and have the ability to quickly adapt to other custom software platforms used in day-to-day calibration activities.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)Relevant experience in the calibration of test and measurement equipment.3-5 years relevant experience with formal PMEL training (specific to Electronics Calibration Technician position).Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.Benefits:Health, Dental, and Vision InsuranceShort Term Disability9 Paid Holidays and 1 Floating Holiday after completion of 120-day probationary period80 hours of Paid Time Off (prorated) after completion of 120-day probationary period with an additional 40 hours of Paid Time Off available after 1 year of service401(k) program with up to 4% company matchFox Valley Metrology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
