About the Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Handyperson to join the maintenance team at RACV Royal Pines Resort.
You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair and preventative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the resort.

As a Handyperson, your key responsibilities include: Carry out general maintenance of resort fittings and fixtures, carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing and cleaning duties Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff Conducting routine inspections of hotel facilities and identifying maintenance needs Maintain the workshop, plant rooms and storerooms in a clean and tidy manner Maintain tools and equipment in a safe manner and ensure it is in good working condition Maintain a clean and safe work environment Full availability and flexibility are required to work shifts on a weekly rotating roster between 7am-10pm, including weekends and public holidays, depending on business needs.
What you'll need to be successful Previous building maintenance experience as a handyperson within a hotel/resort, or similar environment General handyperson skills in carpentry, painting, minor electrical and plumbing Knowledge of facility, building and equipment maintenance Valid driver's licence Competent computer skills in BMS and Microsoft Office applications Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work well in a team environment, with contractors or independently Perform physical and manual handling duties Excellent personal presentation We are Offering Full-time 38 hours week Competitive salary + penalties evenings, weekends & public holidays Generous employee benefits and discounts on RACV products & resorts Employee of the month awards & recognition Uniform Parking onsite The RACV difference Be part of a team who cares.
