A little taste of your day to day Maintaining guest room and public area presentation Preventative maintenance of all plant, equipment and fixtures Painting walls, skirting boards, ceilings and patches plaster work Ensuring maintenance workshop is well organised Monthly projects assigned by the Maintenance Manager Adhering to compliance with Fire, Life, Safety and to maintain a secure hotel at all times Green thumb attending to outdoor garden courtyard and terrace watering, fertilising and trimming plants What we need from you Minimum 1-2 year's experience in a hotel or similar environment Trade qualification in painting or carpentry is highly desirable Comfortable using tools and equipment Computer competency Fitness is important as you'll be on your feet most of the day, and will need to bend and kneel to carry out certain tasks Excellent customer service skills Exceptional organisational skills and an ability to follow tasks through to completion Can work autonomously on tasks and within a team environment to complete efficiently Problem solving skills Well-groomed and professional in appearance Commitment with flexibility to work mornings, weekends and public holidays when required What we offer Join our extraordinary world and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.
