The Handy Person & FM Support will be providing support to 2 CBD located premium A grade multistorey buildings. The person will be responsible for basic daily handyperson and simple maintenance tasks across the 2 sites. In addition to maintenance tasks they will support the wider team with saft and building, basic administration tasks and other tasks to support the FM team in collectively completing the head agreement scope. The role will be client facing so its essential the right person is customer eccentric and solutions focused.Job Description Job Description: As a Handy Person & Facilities Support person, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. Your role will encompass a diverse range of duties including, but not limited to:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the apartment complex, ensuring a safe, clean and well maintained environment for residents and visitors
Performing general maintenance and repairs to the highest standard.
Conducting patching and painting as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal.
Managing grounds maintenance, including lawn mowing, mulching, weeding, fertilizing, and pruning.
Sweeping and maintaining cleanliness in undercover carparks.
Regularly cleaning and maintaining AC filters to optimize functionality.
Coordinating bin rotation schedules for efficient waste management.
Assisting with furniture relocation, including assembly and disassembly.
Replacing and changing light globes as required to ensure adequate lighting.
Conducting building inspections, particularly in plant rooms and tenancies.
Meter reading to monitor resource consumption and identify potential issues.
Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including afterhours and weekends
Implementing effective cable management solutions to maintain safety and organization.
Providing basic reporting on maintenance activities and findings.
Conducting safety audits and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Support Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to uphold the integrity and functionality of the building systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical services.
Raise Purchase orders and approve invoices
Assisting with administrative tasks related to maintenance operations.
Coordinating small projects to improve facilities and optimize functionality.
Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to schedule repairs, inspections, and maintenance tasks as required.
Respond promptly to residents' enquiries, concerns and maintenance requests striving to delivery exceptional customer service.
