Based in our St Leonards office in Sydney, Hamilton Island is seeking a driven Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our finance team.

You'll play a crucial role in preparing budgets and forecasts, refining business processes, and supporting growth through insightful financial analysis and data-driven solutions. You'll collaborate closely with key stakeholders and the Executive Team, ensuring our financial strategies align with the company's vision, mission and values.
Key responsibilities of the role include: Manage the preparation of the annual Budget and ongoing forecasting Collaborate with stakeholders to understand evolving business needs, providing insightful, data-driven analysis and recommendations for enhanced efficiency and growth Provide comprehensive financial, project related and customer analysis, ensuring that reporting elevates critical insights for broader business impact Develop and oversee advanced reporting dashboards and visualisations for internal and external use, challenging and updating any legacy models and processes Assist in the development and implementation of new processes and systems to optimise operational efficiency and service delivery Monitor and evaluate the success of change initiatives, adjusting as needed to ensure strategic objectives are met Perform internal audit functions to identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them About You As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you'll bring a strong background in financial strategy and analysis, with a proven record of optimising business performance. With your analytical expertise and collaborative mindset, you're ready to shape impactful financial strategies that support our business objectives.
Your qualifications and experience include: Bachelor of Commerce/Business (Essential) Proven experience as a Business Analyst with expertise in change management and reporting across various industries (Essential) Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis tools You have the below skills and attributes: Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with teams and leaders, leveraging insights to support business goals and address evolving needs. Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex processes and identify areas for improvement.
