We have an opportunity for a Senior Knowledge Lawyer to join our growing Legal Excellence & Risk team on either a full-time or part-time basis (four days per week).
Reporting to the Head of Knowledge, you will work in our highly regarded Knowledge team to provide professional support to all lawyers and partners within the national Commercial practice, focusing on the Corporate & Commercial, Banking & Financial Services and Tax sections. You'll also work closely with our Client Solutions, Information Technology, Business Development and Learning & Development teams.
You will be responsible for:
Working with the Head of Knowledge and section leaders to develop and implement the precedents and projects plan for the national Commercial practice groups; Facilitating development and execution of technical solutions and document process improvements; Drafting and maintaining precedents; Being a champion for style guide compliance; Working cross-functionally to develop workflows and precedent suites for automation platforms; Conducting file audits in conjunction with the Risk team; Writing key matter summaries for business development; Maintaining awareness of legislative and case law changes and providing regular updates to the Commercial practice groups; Preparing and delivering legal educational training; and Delivering style, precedents and writing training to the firm. About you You will ideally have the following skills and experience:
A minimum of four years of post-admission experience in Corporate and Commercial law; A specific and strong interest in knowledge sharing, precedent development, and style compliance; Advanced document drafting and contract review skills; Excellent attention to detail; The ability to prioritise and project manage autonomously; Strong interpersonal and communication skills; and A keen interest and experience in delivering training.
