Hadware Technician

CHESS Engineering is a long established and highly regarded steel fabrication and mining company working closely with our clients to conceptualise design fabricate and install products into sectors such as Infrastructure Rail Food General Engineering Water and Defence.
We are currently seeking a Full-Time Hardware Technician to join our team.
About you:
Experience required: AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma, or at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
Supports and maintains computer systems and peripherals by installing, configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware.
Job Tasks and Duties:

determining software and hardware requirements to provide solutions to problems
responding to inquiries about software and hardware problems
adapting existing programs to meet users' requirements
installing and downloading appropriate software
ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment
implementing computer networks
designing and maintaining websites
repairing and replacing peripheral equipment such as terminals, printers and modems
