About the Role
MSS Security is seeking dedicated Security Officers to enhance our team at a Shopping Centre in Townsville. In this vital role, you'll help ensure the safety and security of all patrons at the client site.
This is an exciting opportunity to be a crucial part of our security team while enjoying competitive benefits and bonuses. In this role you are expected to:
Ensuring Safety: Providing security, guarding specific areas, and managing crowds.
Patrolling: Walking around the premises and making sure local rules are followed.
Monitoring: Review CCTV footage.
Emergency Response: Liaise with Police and emergency services on incidents.
Handling Requests: Responding quickly and professionally to questions and emergencies.
What we are looking for
QLD Security Licence (unarmed, monitoring and crowd control).
Certificate II (or higher) in Security Operations.
Current First Aid and CPR.
Current Driver's Licence and your own means of transportation.
Intermediate computer skills.
Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster that includes nights and weekends.
