Work Health & Safety Officer

Cranfield Group is representing a growing and well respected civil contractor in Sydney who have recently been accredited for TfNSW projects. This company turnover $80M per annum and employ over 180 full-time employees.  
 
You will be working across multiple projects in the greater Sydney region with the support of the Operations Manager. 
 
Working across diverse projects within the Greater Sydney area, you will play a key role in supporting our commitment to safety excellence and compliance on all active sites.
 
Responsibilities: Oversee health and safety policies, ensuring all projects meet regulatory and company standards. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and site inspections to identify potential hazards. Develop, implement, and improve health and safety procedures and training. Provide guidance to site teams on safe working practices and compliance requirements. Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to create a safety-oriented culture across all sites. About You: Demonstrated experience in a similar WHS role. Comprehensive knowledge of WHS regulations in NSW. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and engage all levels of staff. Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent) required. Valid NSW driver's license. Benefits: Work across multiple diverse projects  Fully maintained vehicle for work and commuting use.
