THIS OPENS THE DOOR TO YOUR FUTURE: OUR OPPORTUNITY Reporting to National Health and Safety Manager and partnering with both our Human Resources Business Partners and Operation Managers, you will be leading a Health and Safety program for a multi-site portfolio.
This role, based in Holden Hill, will see you engaging with senior leadership and workers, where you will be an influential presence in continuing to drive our safety and well-being culture throughout the business.
Key responsibilities will include: Monitor compliance with legislative requirements as well as procedures/safety expectations, initiating corrective actions where necessary Monitor/review H&S reporting tool data with report generation/delivery Collaborative development of Occupational Health & Safety Plans Build relationships with key internal/external stakeholders Facilitate risk reduction workshops/working groups Understand best practice for consistent application across all roller door/shutter manufacturing facilities in Pacific Monitor adherence to procedures/safety expectations and initiate corrective actions where necessary Lead, coach and support managers/supervisors to meet H&S objectives and responsibilities of their role Develop local procedures in alignment with management system Drive conformance to 'Global H&S Directive and management systems Regular interstate travel YOUR SKILLS Minimum 5yrs experience in a Health & Safety role Demonstrated high level of knowledge and understanding of H&S legislation, and related guidance material Practical application of the above (hazard identification/risk assessment/ understanding of practicable risk control measures) Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders at a variety of levels in an inquisitive, educational and influencing capacity Report writing skills WHAT YOU CAN TRUST IN: A FULFILLING WORKPLACE Join an Industry Leader on a Global landscape.
