The roleFull Time, Ongoing PositionCommencing January 2025Closing Date: 5 December 2024We are seeking a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Manager to oversee MLC Gymnastics, a key part of our Community Sport program. This position will manage competitive (WAG and Gymstar) and recreational (GFA and Kindergym) gymnastics programs, ensuring they align with MLC's standards of excellence and inclusivity.As Gymnastics Manager, you will lead a team of coaches, coordinators, and administration staff to deliver engaging, high-quality programs for students and the wider community.Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include the following:Program ManagementOversee all daily operations of MLC Gymnastics programs, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.Lead enrolment, class allocation, timetabling, and communication processes.Ensure smooth coordination of major events, training sessions, and competitions.Manage social media and program communications to enhance engagement and participation.Develop initiatives to celebrate program success and improve customer service.Financial OversightPrepare, monitor, and manage the gymnastics program budget.Conduct annual market appraisals and ensure program fees align with market standards.Manage equipment maintenance and procurement within budgetary guidelines.Competitions & Travel CoordinationOrganise travel, accommodation, and logistics for interstate and international competitions.Coordinate competition entries, payments, and risk assessments.Team LeadershipSupport recruitment, appraisals, and professional development for gymnastics staff.Build a collaborative, inclusive team culture and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure all staff meet compliance requirements, including working with children checks.About YouStrong knowledge of the Australian gymnastics landscape.Proven experience managing competitive and recreational gymnastics programs.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.Competence in using membership systems and technology.Current (or willing to obtain) Level 2 First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma management certifications.A current Working with Children Check.For further information regarding this position, please reach out to ****** puts child safety at the forefront and is committed to providing a child-safe environment.
