Exciting opportunity with two part-time roles available to create full-time hours: 28 hours for Member Services Officer position and 10 hours for Gym & Fitness Officer!
$34.92 per hour (please note that junior rates may apply)
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Gym and Fitness Officer to join our PCYC Mount Isa Club, to be the first impression of our fitness programs to PCYC clients and ensuring all patrons receive the highest level of customer service. This is a dual-role position, with 10 hours dedicated as a Gym and Fitness Officer, and 28 hours as a Member Services Officer. You will be a valuable Gym and Fitness Officer who will be responsible for conducting inductions, conducting fitness assessments and supervising the gym floor to ensure equipment is being used safely. Customer service is also an important facet of the position to optimize the satisfaction and retention of members. In your Member Services Officer position, you will be at the forefront responding to Club enquiries, providing advice and information as well as partaking in up-selling and cross-selling of PCYC products and services. You will also prepare point of sale devices including cash registers and electronic swipe devices in addition to some office administration. About You
Hold a minimum Certificate III or equivalent AQF qualification in a relevant area of practice Industry experience in the relevant area of practice preferred with accreditation with Fitness Australia Demonstrated experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of programs Hold a current First Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain) Please note: Working With Children Check (Blue Card) No Card, No Start and Restricted Person legislation applies. All PCYC employees are required to complete a National Police Check upon commencement.
