Gundagai Meat Processors are on the hunt for a skilled QA Senior Supervisor to join our organisation located in the beautiful town of Gundagai, NSW.
Who we are GMP is a progressive meat processing business owned and operated by the Barton family in regional New South Wales, Australia. The plant is conveniently located halfway between Sydney and Melbourne on the Hume Highway in the beautiful foothills of the Snowy Mountains, which is a prime lamb-growing region.
About the role Promote and facilitate FSQ (Food Safety and Quality) within operations to ensure delivery of a quality, wholesome, compliant, and sustainable product that contributes to the achievement of GMP's strategy. This role is one of compliance leadership and is accountable for providing service and support to operations to allow them to perform according to environmental, food safety, and quality requirements. It provides integration and alignment opportunities within GMP.
What do you need? Minimum 3 years' experience in Food Industry Quality roles, preferably in the Meat Industry. Ability to liaise with staff at all levels across the organisation. A willingness to learn new skills and grow in the role. Your application will include the following questions:
