An alumni of the University of Puget Sound, Leon studied with legendary classical guitarist Christopher Parkening, has headlined West Coast tours with his original rock bands, and has recorded and performed with Rock-and-Roll-Hall-of-Fame artists such as Jerry Cantrell of "Alice in Chains", Sam Andrew of "Big Brother and the Holding Company" (Janis Joplin), Roger Fisher and Mike Derosier of "Heart", members of "Chicago", blues legend Jerry Miller, and more!
Leon seeks to add musical enrichment into the lives of every student whether they are a casual beginner or an experienced performer.
With many years of professional experience performing, recording, and teaching, it is his mission to give quality music lessons focused on achieving personal excellence and he strives to help every student reach their individual musical goals!

Many of his students have since become professional classical guitarists, signed national touring rock musicians, and engineers/producers at notable recording studios.
Leon teaches students locally in Washington State and remotely online for students nationally across the United States and internationally in places such as England, Germany, Hong Kong, South Korea, and more!
