About the Role We are looking for a passionate and customer focused Guest Service Officer to join our amazing front office department, where you will be creating a welcoming experience for all our guests through helpful and exceptional service.
This role will be a mixed role of handling and responding to guest calls and enquires in addition to greeting and assisting in their check in and check out.
In this position you will be proactively resolving service-related concerns and providing appropriate follow up.
This highly visible role gives opportunity for creating signature experiences.
Some of the responsibilities include: Ensure smooth and efficient operation of the Front Office on a day to day basis Handle internal and external phone calls, relaying messages with proficiency Operating and controlling the telephone switchboard Handle guest enquiries and requests and to have a thorough knowledge of Canberra and its surrounding areas Receiving Room Service orders and promptly relaying with the Room Service Kitchen and team.
Efficiently process guest arrival and departures, through smooth check-in and check-out experiences
