You will be responsible for guest registration, billing & reservations whilst ensuring that every guest is welcomed and assisted throughout their stay.About the HotelSage Hotel Wollongong boasts a key location against a stunning southern coastal backdrop.
Offering 168 guest rooms, generous conferencing facilities, Coldwater Creek Bar and Five Islands Restaurant; we invite our guests to make the most of Wollongong.About the RoleAs a Guest Service Agent, you will be the friendly face that sets the tone for our guests' stay.
Based at the Front Office, our GSAs are responsible for delivering exceptional hospitality, whilst ensuring the accurate administration of guest billing & reservations.Position Responsibilities:Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-in/check-out experience is deliveredAdministrate guest billing & reservations enquiries smoothly & accuratelyHandle and resolve any guest concerns effectively in a professional mannerAccommodate the requests and needs of all guests, make recommendations, upsell rooms and related servicesAnswer all incoming calls promptly and pleasantly and provide appropriate assistanceBuild strong positive cross departmental relationships and provide support as requiredSkills & Experience:Previous experience in front desk operations is valuedPersonality and passion for creating memorable experiences for our guestsProfessional verbal and written communication skills and an eye for detailImpeccable grooming and presentationThe flexibility to work a rotating roster, including public holidays and weekendsSkilled at collaborating within teams, as well as working independentlyBarista experience would be valuedA valid visa with relevant working rights in Australia is a mustA current First Aid Certificate and RSA QualificationIn return we offer:Career growth opportunities throughout the Vista Hospitality GroupFood & Beverage and accommodation discounts across the Vista Hospitality GroupAn EAP program and steadfast commitment to creating a positive staff cultureWe thank all interested parties in advance for their applications.
