Situated in the heart of the Werribee city centre, the hotel occupies the top 4 floors of the mixed-use 12-storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms, a gym, an outdoor garden courtyard, all-day dining in our Rosana Bistro & Bar, and versatile conference and events spaces.
Your day to day Check in and check out guests providing a seamless true hospitality experience.Respond promptly to guest requests and enquiries.Input and update guest reservation profiles.Recognise and welcome back IHG members and encourage new guests to enroll in the IHG One Rewards Loyalty program.Suggestively sell guest accommodation rooms and utilise in-house food & beverage offerings.Understand hotel facilities, including room configuration and food & beverage operating hours.Provide support to other operational areas such as food & beverage service, making coffees, setting up conference & events rooms, and cleaning for hotel presentation when required.What we need from you Experience in a front office role within a hotel environment is highly desirable.Competency using property management and point of sale systems; current or previous Opera and Infrasys and HobOs experience is highly desirable.Commitment and availability to work a rotational roster, including early mornings, late evenings, overnights, weekends, and public holidays.A positive and energetic attitude with a 'can do' approach, meaning you're happy to roll up your sleeves and help everyone out to deliver our guests a memorable stay.A genuine desire to be part of the new hotel and join a highly motivated team that works together to flex in changing situations.Ability to be self-motivated and a self-starter that can take the lead in any situation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.A true brand ambassador for Holiday Inn and the IHG group.A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate is desired.What we offer Join our extraordinary world and experience a place where you can be yourself, share your ideas, support your personal growth and wellbeing, and be a valued member of an inspirational team.
