This role is part of the Guardianship team and reports to the Team Manager.Key duties and responsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the Team Manager act as the point of contact and respond to external service providers, represented persons and stakeholders.Monitor and regularly report to Team Manager any outstanding matters for advice and/or Adult Guardianship Officer delegation as set out in guidelines.Maintain up to date OPGIS case records, reports, and data collection.Contribute as directed to assist the Adult Guardianship team with the collection and recording of information relevant to the realisation of PGT strategic objectives.Act in accordance with relevant legislation and policies including the Guardianship of Adults Act 2016 and the Advanced Personal Planning Act 2013.Contribute to the ongoing development of the Guardianship Support model best practice.Follow defined service quality standards, work, health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.Selection criteriaDemonstrated knowledge in working and complying with legislative frameworks, policies and standards related to people with disabilities and ageing such as the NDIS.Proven ability to apply analysis and carry out day to day practice which complies with policy and guidelines.Proven ability to liaise with key stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.Excellent verbal and written communication, record keeping and data collection skills.Sound knowledge of office-based computer systems including experience in client management databases.The ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with people from a variety of backgrounds and diverse cultures.Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team and the ability to prioritise workload maintaining accuracy and attention.Further informationThe preferred applicant may require to hold a current Working with Children clearance notice and undergo a criminal history check.
