Are you keen to join our specialist Real Estate practice at what is an exciting time of growth, expansion and change?
This role will implement the growth strategy to further embed Affinity within the dynamic real estate industry in Australia. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients and attendance at industry events with a focus on new business acquisition.
This role will report directly to the Senior Client Services Manager Real Estate, Affinity.

What the day will look like You will primarily be driving new business acquisition through direct and existing channel partnerships in line with the growth strategy. You will be required to travel both locally and interstate to attend client premises and key industry events.
Expand the portfolio of new client relationships and increase revenue across existing client baseLead new business opportunities on small to moderate size, accounts within identified markets - working to clear KPI's and targetsWork with prospects through several channels, such as face to face, email and phoneResearch the market to develop a good understanding of client needs, industry risk and business environmentAdvocate for customers through standard methodology and insurer negotiations to achieve the best outcome for customersPartner with stakeholders across the business to exceed customer expectationsPartner with external insurer stakeholders to build a strong solution network to exceed client expectationsMulti-tasking whilst navigating a range of technologiesCollaborating and sharing knowledge with colleagues across the team and businessWork within company policy, compliance, laws and regulationsParticipate in self-training and mentoring sessions to keep knowledge up to dateHow is this opportunity different We're a team of authentic and smart individuals focused on providing exceptional value to our small business clients, larger B2B partners, and our local communities. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience in insurance sales, prospecting and relationship management, strong broking backgroundExperience operating in a sales environment achieving clear targetsStrong technical knowledge of insurance products required by small businessCommercial skills including ability to deliver and report on financialsStrong negotiating, listening and communication skillsProven client management and relationship skillsAdaptable, focussed and self-disciplined, with strong interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem solving abilityDiploma of General Insurance or Diploma of Insurance Broking (advantageous)Tier 1 Insurance Broking (required)Experience using Salesforce in a sales environment (desired)Experience identifying target markets to drive balanced growth (desired)Experience in placing sophisticated SME and Micro-SME placements (desired)How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
