Role Overview: In the role of Group Travel Consultant, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional travel experiences for our corporate clients. Your duties will involve organizing and managing travel arrangements for groups and individuals, with a focus on coordinating MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events. Attention to detail and proactive management of travel logistics will be critical to ensuring smooth and successful travel operations
To be successful: The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in corporate travel products to deliver optimal outcomes for customers and the business. They will assist in budgeting and executing precise business travel arrangements, including air, car, hotel, and ground transportation reservations. Following company procedures and customer service standards, they will handle product sourcing, quoting, ticketing, exchanges, CRS/GDS productivity, record-keeping, and administrative tasks. The candidate must excel in communication, professionalism, time management, multitasking, and project management. They should adapt to changing environments and stakeholder needs, work effectively both independently and in teams, maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, and proactively solve complex logistical challenges. Their proficiency in fares, complex itineraries, attention to detail, and dedication to customer service will be paramount.
About you: Proficiency in SABRE – A MUSTStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.Experience with major airline group booking platforms – Preferred Familiarity with Event Management Technology such as Events Air/Cvent – Preferred A minimum of 3 years of experience in Group Travel/MICE.Previous roles in customer-facing positions - Preferred.Package and benefits: A generous pay structure with base salary, uncapped bonuses, and Super Hybrid work optionsContinuous training and professional growthClear paths for career advancement within our travel and events team plus Global career prospects across our network of brandsDiscounts on travel, alongside in-house financial and health services.
