JOB DESCRIPTION About Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street Hilton Melbourne Little Queen Street combines old world charm with modern luxuries!
This stunning hotel in the heart of the CBD features 244 stylish guest rooms, including 10 spacious suites, a restaurant and bar, fully equipped gym and eight meeting & event spaces.
About the role   This role will commence in early March 2025.
In this role, you'll take charge of promoting, selling, and managing group and event inquiries from the initial contact through to securing the contract.
You'll expertly qualify leads, showcase the hotel as the ideal venue for meetings and events, and cultivate strong customer relationships that drive repeat business.
Specifically, your duties will include: Handle groups, meetings and events inquiries professionally, turning leads into bookings while increasing revenue through upselling and smart pricing strategies.
Organise site visits, showcase hotel facilities, and build strong relationships to retain clients and exceed our sales goals.
Build lasting customer relationships by creating exceptional service and by hosting clients when needed Analyse the competitive market and develop strategies to maintain the hotel's leading position in the local market  Support the Event Coordinator as required  What are we looking for?
Proven experience in sales and event management is essential.
A genuine passion for hospitality, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to finding the "YES" in every situation.
Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong IT proficiency, including advanced knowledge of Excel and Word.
Capable of staying focused and delivering results even under pressure.
