About the role: Reporting to the Executive Director Shared Services, the Group WHSEQ Manager provides strategic direction and leadership across the organisation to ensure the safety, health and wellbeing of all workers and operational worksites.
The position leads and oversees the WHSEQ function, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards related to health, safety, environmental protection and quality management within ISGroup and provide continuous growth and capability within the WHSEQ team.
About you: You'll bring extensive experience in Work Health, Safety, Environment and Quality and leading a team.
A degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related discipline.
Significant experience in construction, infrastructure, engineering or mining sector.
You'll bring a deep understanding of statutory frameworks governing safety and risks.
A strong understanding and working knowledge of national WHSEQ regulations, standards and best practice.
Experience with ISO certification and auditing processes.
Extensive experience in developing and implementing an integrated WHS management system.
Flexibility to travel within Australia and to client sites.
