About the Role
As a Group Treasury Governance Manager in our team, you'll play a key role in helping to be responsible for supporting the continued management of operational risk and compliance objectives in accordance with ANZ's risk frameworks. You will gain experience across balance sheet management, liquidity, funding, capital and regulatory management (and other areas). Your role is a 1st line risk role and you will work constructively with other 1st line risk teams, 2nd line (risk) and third line (audit). You will work closely with Group Treasury as well as key partners and stakeholders across Enterprise Finance, Markets and Market Risk.

What will your day look like?
As a Group Treasury Governance Manager, you will:
Timely identification, management and recording of risks, events, and issues in line with ANZ's I.AM framework.
Coordination and execution of Group Treasury's control testing plan, including Prudential Compliance Plans and related CPS 220/Material Risk Owner attestations.
Undertaking I.AM Amplified adoption activities for Group Treasury, collaborating closely with colleagues across Enterprise Finance.
Working with Group Treasury to implement and improve risk management processes, artefacts and controls to ensure the business is well managed.
Provide consultation and review on change activities and related NFRAs.
Key coordinator and preparer of the Group Treasury Risk Management Forum, related papers and dashboard reporting.
Providing insights to Group Treasury to help ensure the risk and control landscape is understood and a 'no surprises'/speak up' culture is further cultivated.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Previous experience in either a 1st, 2nd or 3rd line risk role would be highly regarded.
Background in/understanding of Group Treasury, Markets or Institutional would be advantageous, but not essential.
Understanding of ANZ's NFR management framework.
Strong attention to detail and proven problem solving capability.
Demonstrated relationship building skills and ability to influence outcomes.
An ability to context shift and 'connect the dots'.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A healthy dose of pragmatism and ability to make sound judgements based on the information at hand.
A growth mindset and desire to learn, grow and continuously improve yourself and the business.
