The Group Strategy team plays a central role in setting the Coles Group strategy to remain a world class retailer.
The team is responsible for working with senior stakeholders to develop, articulate and deliver on the strategic priorities of the business.
About the role A permanent opportunity is now available for a dynamic Group Strategy Manager to join our Group Strategy function.
This role will see you support our Head of Group Strategy and GM Corporate Strategy, Business Development & Capital to design and deliver Coles' strategy and support decision making.
The Group Strategy Manager will also empower and guide others to generate hypotheses, conduct data analysis, synthesise and interpret themes, trends and issues and to develop solutions for complex problems across the business.
You will also; Provide fact-based insight to assist the development and delivery of key finance Lead the development and execution of project plans to deliver against the strategic priorities of the business, providing clear direction to team Lead analysis and structured problem solving to develop and articulate initiatives and key success metrics on key strategic issues Identify key risks to in-scope projects and proactively develop and execute mitigation plans Work collaboratively with senior stakeholders in the business as a strategic thought partner and driver of execution against strategic initiatives Guide and support the team in the use of the most effective and efficient methods and ensure the quality and accuracy of analyses Facilitate discussion and workshops with individuals or groups to solve complex issues, gain buy-in and drive to agreed outcomes About you and your skills Our successful candidate will have proven experience working with complex analytical problem solving, leading the development and execution of plans and strategy, as well as inspiring and enabling a high-performance team to achieve career and organisational goals.
