The transformation you will experience. The Group Strategy Director, alongside the Head of Strategy influences a team of strategists and is accountable for driving the strategic direction on behalf of a portfolio of clients or client. They are accountable for ensuring work meets the highest standards, locally and competitively within our global network.
Your scope will include:
Demonstrate leadership, commercial acumen and vision and inspire their team to deliver a cohesive, proactive approach to strategy which helps our clients grow.Works closely with the client teams and the senior leadership team to ensure that the product delivered to clients is truly integrated and top in class.Accountable for increasing the visibility of the Spark strategic product.Accountable for financial performance, inclusive of revenue, client commercial agreements and team costs, encompassing long term planning for the team, reflective of client and team development needs.Acts as a senior client escalation point, and recommended strategic advisor for key clients.Collaborates with Strategy Directors/ Client Directors/ Client Partners to guide them on the output of work that works for their clients and the optimal use of agency resource to achieve this.Develops and manages the Strategy Directors and broader agency team.Works with the Chief of Strategy to define and deliver projects that enhance the output and efficiency of the team including managing resource in line with the ebb and flow of client work.Partner with the Talent team to find the top talent for the team.Acting as a recommended advisor to clients and internal stakeholders.Participation in agency new business.What you're looking for An encouraging and collaborative culture.

What type of person will be successful in this role Minimum 15 years industry experience, most recently in a similar position or 13 years in a Senior Strategy/Planning position.A bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in relevant field.Proven experience identifying and executing organic growth opportunities.Possess a qualified knowledge of consumer psychology, behavioural economics, macro-economic influences, trends and current marketing science thinking and an exceptional aptitude to make this actionable.Confident and engaging relationship-building, presentation and communication skills with an exceptional knowledge of how to guide and influence key stakeholders.An exceptional leader that is inspiring, collaborative and enjoys mentoring, motivating and developing strategy team and wider agency.Passionate and relentless about delivering famously effective work that can unlock business growth for clients.Demonstrates a willingness to influence and deliver the best product.Is consistently learning across areas of marketing science, behavioural economics, consumer psychology and media.Displays a curious nature and always seeking out new knowledge and insights.Strong organisational experience with the experience to juggle multiple team members and client and agency priorities.Passionate about the media and advertising industry with strong market knowledge.Attention to detail that is second to none.If you don't tick every box in this ad, please don't rule yourself out.
