Group Sales Manager
at Seven, you will play a strategic role in managing and growing the broadcast regional and metro sales revenue from your designated portfolio of Agencies / Clients.In this role, you will oversee broadcast Sales Executives and Coordinators looking after both Metro and Regional campaigns directly but work closely with the Digital GSM and Connections Planner across your portfolio to drive cross-screen convergent outcomes.
You will work closely with the broader Seven Sales teams to develop a high-performance team focused on delivering to State and Network targets across the screens of the Seven team.Based in Eveleigh, Sydney, and reporting to Group Business Director.
You will:Negotiate and Manage National Broadcast Deals:
Manage national broadcast deals to ensure revenue and share targets are achieved.
Maintain a deal book to ensure on-time delivery and the best yields.Build and Maintain Strong Relationships:
Build relationships with Investment Directors and Group Trading Leads of respective agencies.Manage the Campaign Activity:
Manage the meter and regional television campaigns, focusing on premium and convergent outcomes.
Collaborate with Digital GSM and Connections Planners on integrated opportunities.Drive Team Performance:
Collaborate with State SD & GBDs to lead a high-performing team aligned with SWM's value.
Build an inclusive culture and focus on engagement.Develop Business Plans:
Collaborate with GBD in developing business plans, identifying growth opportunities, and retention strategies.Ensure Service Excellence:
Work collaboratively with investment teams and internal teams to drive exceptional service, responsiveness, and productivity.
Hold regular check-ins with agency teams to resolve issues as soon as possible.Drive Sales Excellence:
Coach and train the sales force in trading excellence and client service.
Keep abreast of market trends, as well as adhere to regulatory and internal requirements.About You:You are an experienced Group Sales Manager with exceptional skills in building strong client relationships, developing cohesive Sales teams, strong interpersonal communication skills, strong sales background, team player, and driving innovative solutions.
