Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a full-time Group Reservations Coordinator.
As a Group Reservations Coordinator, you'll make sure all our clients' group bookings run smoothly - acting as both brand ambassador and trusted partner. You'll connect internal teams to deliver a seamless experience for group guests and partner with external stakeholders to maintain strong partnerships for long-term contracts.
A little taste of your day to day
In charge of all group enquiries, contracting and coordination, including guest roomsSeeking proactive measures to maximise all opportunities to increase salesDeveloping and maintaining relationships with key clients and outside contactsManage the rooming list process for all group segmentsConduct group briefings and site inspectionsLiaise with the Revenue Team & Reservations Department for room availability and room preferencesLiaise with finance to ensure billing is accurate and credit approvals are processed correctlyWhat we need from you:
Experience in a similar roleDemonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.Proven communication skills across phone, email & face-to-face style interactionsProficient in the use of Microsoft Office, experience with Opera and Delphi highly regardedProblem solving and organizational abilitiesExperience working in a hotel reservations or front office roleMust have working rights for AustraliaYou'll be rewarded for your hard work with a suite of benefits that supports you and your family's wellbeing, including:
