Job Description Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a passionate, adaptable and organised Group Reservations Agent!
About the Role! Joining the commercial heart of our hotel team and reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be part of a team responsible for the planning of group reservation bookings including conference & events, sporting, corporate, special event, inbound and ad-hoc groups. You will work with our Sales and Planning teams and clients to ensure our group reservations are planned effectively and efficiently.
As a Group Reservations Agent, your key responsibilities will include:
Management of group room blocks and rooming lists.Handle group accommodation queries and special requests.Manage hotel inventory with relation to group reservations.Prepare group information and briefing for relevant hotel departments.Proactively seek and address feedback from clients and develop ongoing client relationships.Quoting and securing group accommodation from non-catered groups and managing contracting, billing and handover for these groups.Working with a dedicated team, you will utilise your strong relationship and administrative skills; collaborating with other departments to build and maintain partnerships with our existing / potential guests and clients to drive results.
Qualifications About you!
