We are seeking a Group Manager – Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business.
You will work closely with our Senior Executive Team to drive strategic growth, enhance our corporate capability, and ensure we remain at the forefront of the industry.
The Role Reporting to the Group Chief People Officer, this role will collaborate closely with the Senior Executive Team to effectively develop and implement long-term strategies and plans across the Sarah Group and its subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities of the role will include: Support the development and execution of corporate, business and functional strategies across the Group.
Oversee the governance of our strategic plans, making sure that plans are operationalised effectively and as intended.
Support the development of annual business plans to enable long-term objectives.
Assist in the development of tactical responses to address evolving organisational and external dynamics, aligning key actions with our strategic intent.
Implement strategic reviews with Senior Executives, ensuring that all plans remain up to date and current with consideration to relevant internal and external factors.
Monitor and analyse external market dynamics, including addressable markets, growth engines, customer preferences, competitive landscapes, strategic options, and emerging opportunities.
Identify opportunities to leverage our existing operating model, focusing on capabilities and potential, functional value chains, enablers and strategic differentiators.
Support the evaluation and integration of new businesses, and manage projects related to mergers and acquisitions (M&A), to ensure seamless transitions and alignment with organisational goals.

About You You will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, or equivalent.
5 + years proven experience in strategic planning, backed by strong analytical skills.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or similar (preferred).
Experience working within a large, complex privately owned business (preferred).
Experience as a Management Consultant in a large multi-disciplinary consulting firm (preferred).
Strong background in research and data interpretation.
Excellent reporting and presenting skills.
Demonstrated ability to engage at the Executive level.
Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
