Permanent Full Time PositionBe the difference in the lives of our residents and staffEnjoy great rewards and benefitsConvenient city-fringe location with onsite parkingSalary Packaging benefits up to $15,900 annually to maximise your take home payAbout the role The Group Manager Rostering is instrumental in driving our critical rostering functions by working collaboratively to embed our rostering processes, practices and governance to ensure reliable provision of quality care across our Residential Care homes.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Optimising our rostering practices and overseeing roster system utilisation including facilitating data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.Forecasting future supply and demand requirements by reviewing and identifying rationale and drivers behind past anomalies.Assessment of the end to end resource management effectiveness including identifying issues and areas of improvement of design.Implementation and monitoring of improvement designs to achieve model / system optimisation.Analysing and reporting key resource management performance indicators to facilitate organisational decision making.Developing and maintaining strong business relationships and communications with all stakeholders including facilitating resourcing performance meetings.Lead, coach and motivate the team to deliver high quality interactions and foster development to build team member capabilities.About you We are looking for people who will be the difference in the lives of our residents and clients.
The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrated experience as a senior leader responsible for operational resource management and demand planning functions within a large scale organisation.Comprehensive understanding of complex workforce and roster management including extensive experience in utilising rostering software applications.Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate ideas and insights tailored to a targeted audience.Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop stakeholder relationships and working collaboratively to achieve objectives.Experience in the Aged Care Industry, Health Sector or similar is desirable.Demonstrated expertise in Humanforce software package is desirable.A current Drivers Licence is essential.Candidates with a Tertiary Qualification in Business, Management, HR Management, Health Services Management, Health Administration or similar is desirable.About us Southern Cross Care is one of Australia's leading charitable aged care and retirement living service providers.
