You will also be responsible for managing IT infrastructure to deliver effective services while supporting key Cyber, Project and Digital solutions delivery and compliance of systems.You will also;Leading a team of IT professionals to ensure the stability, efficiency, and security of IT operationsBudget management, vendor relationship management, and strategic planning for technology needsEnsure the successful implementation and execution of functional or operational plansProvide continuous coaching and mentoring to team members for their professional developmentApply commercial judgment in business planning and decision-making.Develop commercially astute vendor contract scopes, negotiate rates, and understand corporate approval processes.About YouThe ideal candidate for this position should possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field. A solid educational foundation in these disciplines will serve as the basis for the complex challenges inherent in the role.You will have demonstrated experience in a leadership role within IT Solutions or a comparable field. This includes a track record of effectively presenting to senior leadership and clients, showcasing the ability to influence site-based, vendor, and senior stakeholders. The candidate should bring valuable experience in the METS or mining environment, ideally having led large teams. Furthermore, the individual should exhibit a comprehensive understanding of cross-functional business activities and their integration with ICT. Additionally, experience in business process improvement concepts, coupled with strong business project management skills and the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently, will be highly advantageous.The ideal candidate's technical skills should encompass a robust understanding of Strategy and Operational planning processes, coupled with a keen awareness of execution requirements. Their expertise should extend to comprehending the intricacies of cross-functional business activities and their interplay with ICT.
