This position is central to ensuring that digital initiatives are executed efficiently and effectively, aligning with Mirvac's strategic goals.
The role will be responsible for designing, building, delivering, and supporting modern technology solutions that form secure, optimized, frictionless user experiences for Mirvac.
Key responsibilities: Accelerated Delivery Leadership: Spearhead the fast-paced delivery capability within Digital@Mirvac, ensuring that digital projects are completed efficiently and effectively on time and budget to deliver the desired outcomes.Scalable Team Leadership: Facilitate the growth and development of delivery teams to drive the delivery of business outcomes on a larger scale.Thought Leadership and Best Practices: Provide expert guidance on modern delivery techniques to the digital leadership and broader teams, constantly improving delivery standards and frameworks for optimal value delivery.Digital Strategy Execution: Navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by legacy systems and manual processes, championing contemporary delivery methods both within the team and across the wider business.Objective Setting and Delivery: Set and ensure the achievement of quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for delivery teams.Delivery Governance: Implement and maintain robust governance across all digital projects, initiatives, and product teams to ensure effective and compliant delivery.Operating Model Application: Apply enterprise-grade digital operating models to enhance confidence in Digital's execution capabilities.High performance culture: Assemble, mentor, and nurture a team focused on quality and customer-centricity. Attract and retain top talent while leveraging partner ecosystems for additional skills and capacity.Vendor Relationship Management: Form and cultivate vendor partnerships that augment delivery capabilities and introduce scalability, cost efficiencies, and specialized expertise.Culture Advocacy: Embody and promote the culture and values outlined in the Digital@Mirvac Culture Code and the broader Mirvac company values, ensuring alignment across the organizationYour point of difference You are a seasoned professional with at least 10 years of experience in delivering technology solutions within large, complex organizations. Other requirements are:
Team Culture Development: A proven track record of creating and fostering a culture of high performance within teams.Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and navigate change, dealing effectively with ambiguity and complexity.Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated success in managing stakeholders and engaging with individuals at the executive level.Cross-functional Leadership: Strong experience in leading cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions.Project Management Proficiency: Proficient in using tools like JIRA and well-versed in various project methodologies including Agile, Waterfall, and SDLC, with the capacity to choose the most effective approach for the project at hand.End-to-End Management: Ability to oversee the delivery process from estimating to benefits realization, monitoring progress and outcomes of individual projects.Proactivity and Self-motivation: A proactive nature with self-motivation to address issues, improve systems and processes, and drive efficiency and effectiveness.Let's build the Imagine nation together.
