About the role

In this role, you'll be contributing to the process of setting ambitious annual targets, developing robust financial plans and forecasts, and establishing and tracking key performance metrics. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering insightful reports and strategic support that underpin performance and guide key decisions. If you're passionate about driving success and making a difference, we want to hear from you! Your key responsibilities will include the following:

Contributing to enterprise level business performance reporting, and individual business unit reporting.

Providing variance analysis of performance against plans and forecasts along with insights into performance improvement opportunities.

Consolidating business unit reporting including producing cashflow and balance sheet forecasts and insights.

Developing automated reporting frameworks and dashboards to enhance efficiencies and insight to business performance.

Working with business stakeholders to provide regulatory reporting as required.

Support the annual financial planning process and ongoing forecasting process including the capital plan, cash flow and balance sheet, and presentation preparation.

How can you support the Clean Energy Transition

Tertiary qualifications in accounting, finance, economics or another relevant quantitative degree (minimum).

CA/CPA qualified or partially qualified.

Minimum 2+ years experience in Big4 or a complex corporate environment, with previous management reporting and/or planning experience desirable.

Experience in financial modelling and financial systems (e.g. SAP).

Good degree of commercial acumen.

Experience applying analytical and conceptual skills when undertaking data analysis and demonstrated ability to develop quality reporting products.

Ability to access, analyse and collate data contained in disparate sources to develop reports and address ad hoc queries.

Ability to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and collaborate with others to deliver reporting services.

Ability to apply problem-solving capabilities, such as implementing process improvement initiatives to enhance reporting.

Ability to manage reporting tasks within tight timeframes and be accountable for outcomes.

Knowledge in financial reporting would be highly regarded although not compulsory.
