In this role, you will play a key part in managing the employee life cycle from recruitment through to employee termination, ensuring that all stages—recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding—are executed in line with relevant legislation and company policies.You will also be responsible for managing workers' compensation claims, providing guidance and support to store teams regarding return-to-work plans, and ensuring a smooth and compliant experience for all employees throughout their time with the company. The HR Advisor will work closely with the HR team to address employee needs, resolve challenges, and contribute to creating a positive workplace culture.If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding role that will allow you to make a significant impact on employee experience and organisational success, we encourage you to apply.What will you do?Provide expert advice and support on employee relations, industrial relations, and performance management to managers and team members.Coach managers on complex employment issues across the full employee life cycle, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation.Manage workers' compensation claims from start to finish, including the development of return-to-work plans and liaising with stakeholders.Lead investigations into employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary matters, and recommend appropriate actions.Champion a culture of high performance by supporting managers through the performance review process and handling performance and conduct issues.Advise on Enterprise Agreement interpretations and ensure accurate implementation of HR policies and procedures.Design, implement, and deliver 'best practice' HR projects, driving continuous improvement and engagement within the organization.Manage and maintain accurate HR documentation, including offer paperwork, pre-employment checks, and monthly workers' compensation reports.What skills and experience do you need?2 to 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, with expertise in employee relations, performance management, and HR processes.Formal qualification in Human Resources or a related field (degree or certificate) is highly desirable.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a high standard of work.Certified Return to Work Certificate and experience in managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work plans.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent verbal and written communication skills.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the largest jewellery retailer in Australia.
