This role will be responsible for leading our health & wellbeing strategy and initiatives. You will also oversee the implementation of the Metcash psychosocial risk and fitness frameworks.In this RoleDevelop and oversee the execution of the Metcash Health & Wellbeing strategy, through education, external providers, regular communications, promotions and activations.Oversee the continuous improvement and implementation of the Metcash Psychosocial Risks and related risk assessments, ensuring compliance to applicable State and Territory legislation.Oversee the Metcash Fitness for Work SHE Standard and related Critical Risk Mitigation Action Plan.Coordinate a company-wide program for alcohol and other drug testing in accordance with company and relevant ISO / AS / NZS Standards, including the training of appropriate "testers" internally and coordinating external providers as needed.Oversee the development and implementation of a consistent approach to pre-employment medical (PEM) screening covering initial and ongoing health surveillance as required by legislation.Oversee the growth of Metcash's Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) network and training program.Manage contracts, relationships and service levels of external suppliers.Assist with other identified initiatives that support ongoing continuous improvement in health, wellbeing, psychosocial safety and / or SHE compliance and governance.You're Likely a Match IfTertiary qualifications in psychology, mental health or related discipline.Proven experience driving an organisational health and wellbeing strategy in a fast-paced environment.Proven ability to work effectively with line management to build capability and safety leadership.Solutions provider, innovative thinker.Strong skills in building robust relationships with all levels.High-level communication skills and ability to balance risk and innovation.Commercial mindset and ability to influence.Qualifications in Training and Assessment Qualification (Certificate IV or higher), ICAM Lead Investigator Certification, SHE Lead Auditor Certification, Project Management Certification (Certificate IV or higher) are highly regarded.Life at MetcashExperience a supportive and flexible work environment.
