Group General Manager Finance

Permanent full-time role with Early 2024 Start Contribute to CPL Group strategy within Exec Management Team Join a leading, dynamic not-for-profit with 3000+ employees The newly created role of Group General Manager Finance reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is a member of the Executive Management Team (EMT).

This exciting new role will be responsible for leading the Finance, Payroll, Portal and Claiming Team (PACT), Fleet and Purchasing functions for the CPL Group.
Based in Brisbane CBD with WFH flexibility, the position will partially be hands on and undertake key high level / technical finance functions while also having a key focus on ongoing optimisation and efficiencies.

Key responsibilities include:
Lead the Finance, Payroll, PACT, Fleet and Purchasing teams.
Undertake key technical finance functions.
Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies.
Lead annual Insurance renewal.
Coordinate annual financial audits and prepare all financial statements for the CPL Group.
Effectively manage cash flow.
Build and maintain highly effective relationships across the CPL Group.
Mentor, support and develop managers and leaders within the Finance, Payroll, PACT, Fleet and Purchasing teams.
Model the CPL Group Values.
Requirements include:
Experience in a similar role, preferably in a large disability or not-for-profit organisation.
Proven experience in leading a multi-disciplinary team.
Proven experience in business process optimisation.
Strong technical financial skills and the ability to lead and develop others in this area.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Positive 'can-do' attitude and approach.
Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
NDIS Clearance and Blue Card (we can help).
Experience and skills in TechnologyOne CiAnywhere desirable.
CA/CPA Qualified.
