Group Fitness Instructor - Over 55 Movement Class

The Centre is a unique place of sports, recreation, and a faith community. We are looking for experienced Fitness Instructors who can provide safe, effective and enjoyable exercise classes for our Over 55s Movement class on Monday and Thursday mornings from 10.00 to 10.45 am.

Job Description


Create a safe and pleasant exercise environment where users can achieve their fitness goals and objectives.

Develop fitness programs and ensure participants have the skills and knowledge to execute the exercises safely and correctly.

Work as a team to develop and deliver services and programs that meet community needs and promote continuous improvement.

Contribute to providing high customer service per all guidelines and procedures as outlined by The Centre.

Interact with customers from a range of cultural backgrounds, age groups, abilities and fitness levels

Provide information to class participants on the programs and services available at The Centre

Inform the Sports Manager of any issues related to patron participation and the quality of service.

Design effective and appropriate fitness programs and safely conduct program demonstrations, ensuring the correct technique is maintained

Support developing and delivering a range of health and fitness-based programs, services, and retention activities.

Support the delivery of other initiatives as they occur.
