We are looking for motivated, experienced, and energetic individuals who have a passion for providing safe and engaging classes to join our Key Venues team as Aqua Group Fitness Instructors for our aquatic and leisure centres at: Blacktown Aquatic Centre Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton.
Position purpose: Casual Group Fitness Instructors are required to instruct a range of group activities for a various target markets, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all participants.
We are looking for Group Fitness Instructors qualified in Aqua Group Fitness.

Qualifications and experience Essential: Accredited Fitness Leader (Fitness Australia/ AUSactive, Fitrec, Physical Activity Australia or equivalent) Current CPR Certificate Experience working both within a team environment and as a 'self-starter' Experience of working with schools, corporate groups, sporting clubs and/or associations Current Working With Children Check.
Desirable: Current First Aid Certificate Accredited Group Fitness Instructor (eg.
Step) Accredited Les Mills Instructor Accredited Aqua Instructor Accredited Boxercise Instructor Accredited Yoga Instructor Accredited Pilates Instructor.
Remuneration and benefits The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.
For non-teaching hours, the entry level for this position starts at $33.4529 per hour plus 25% casual loading An hourly class rate applies at $60.00 for this position Penalty rates apply for weekend shifts Trainee rates apply for applicants under 19 years of age Casual working hours Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable),11.5% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
