An exciting opportunity for a strong people leader to join an ASX where the head office is based here in Melbourne, open to Senior Big 4 / Mid tier Director levels wanting a first move out of a chartered or someone who has already moved across into Industry with the relevant group experience.
Description This role is a key member of the corporate finance team working with the SLT team.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
Preparing annual and half-year statutory accounts and other compliance-related documents.Monthly management and operational reporting for the group.Consolidation of group results, cashflow reporting, variance analysis and oversight of treasury.System enhancement and strengthening of the group's data analytics capabilities.Liaising with external auditors for preparation of statutory accounts and tax compliance.Manage, lead and develop the financial accounting team.Other ad hoc project related work.Profile To be successful in this role, you will be CA / CPA qualified and have a minimum of ten years within chartered (Big 4 or Mid-tier) and/or worked with or within an ASX company.
Having held a senior leadership role in finance, you will be driven by system improvements and best practice.
You will have a meticulous attention to detail and be technically astute across IFRS, statutory reporting and managing external audits.
An ability to work autonomously and a deadline driven approach, you will be self-motivated and work well in a close-knit team environment.
This role requires someone with a broad technical skillset that is happy to roll up their sleeves and be solutions focused but also operate at a high level.
Strong communications, both verbal and written will also be essential for your success in this exciting role.
