About The Role
As a key member of the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for the Group's financial accounting, financial reporting, and taxation functions across its 4 businesses (JB Hi-Fi Australia, JB Hi-Fi New Zealand, The Good Guys and e&s).
Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial accounting across the Group's businesses.
Leading the preparation and presentation of financial statements and external reporting.
Overseeing the groups monthly reporting processes and analysing results.
Managing the groups external audit requirements.
Managing the groups taxation obligations and lodgements.
Developing and overseeing robust financial controls.
Overseeing compliance with existing and new international accounting standards.
Leading the groups accounts receivable, banking and rebates functions.
Providing insights that support business decisions and growth initiatives.
Identifying and driving process improvement initiatives and automation projects.
Providing strong leadership and clear direction to a large team.
About You
Tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance.
CA/CPA qualified.
Experience in ASX listed and/or retail business preferable.
Minimum of 10+ years' experience in a senior finance role.
Experience in managing a large team.
Ability to manage high workloads and meet tight deadlines.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Adaptable and self-motivated.
Strong customer service focus and good communication skills.
