Based in our head office in West Perth, the Group Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in the financial reporting and consolidation processes of the APM Group. This hands-on role requires expertise in IFRS, strategic analysis, and a commitment to fostering continuous improvement within our finance operations. As part of the Group Reporting Team, you'll be the cornerstone of financial reporting for the APM Group, ensuring adherence to accounting standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will involve close collaboration with local finance teams, auditors, and stakeholders to uphold financial integrity and compliance. In this role you will: Consolidation requirements and reconciliation of underlying records to final statutory reporting positions. Assisting with periodic management reporting, analytics, and commentary. Co-ordinating the external audit process together with other members team. Providing technical accounting support and analysis. Partnering with local finance teams to promote process and reporting consistency and group oversight. Driving process improvement initiatives to bolster efficiency and control. Adhoc work project as required, most recently; transaction work, acquisitions, system implementations. Skills you'll bring: CA/CPA qualification essential. Strong leadership skills. Profound knowledge of accounting processes and IFRS. Adaptability and a proactive approach to change management. Self-motivated with exceptional time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. What's in it for you?
