About the company: We are partnering with an exciting Australian Construction company who are expanding their finance team. This company is headquartered in Australia and is about to begin an international expansion.
This is a newly created role with uncapped career growth potential. This role will see you reporting directly into the CFO and give you the chance to lead projects and improve systems.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to enhance your management skills by leading a growing team as you will have three direct reports.
You will be given the opportunity to lead from the front and proactively initiate new initiatives to maximize revenue.
Responsibilities Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Financial and management reporting.Budgeting and forecasting for construction portfolios.Business partnering with multiple key stakeholders across different business units.Provision of key analysis and insights on investments.Management of a small finance team (3 direct reports).Driving systems integration and process improvements.Leading the process for GST, BAS, and managing FBT.Preparation and ownership of month-end closing.Leading optimization projects across the wider finance department.Financial forecasting and project analysis for new property developments and acquisitions.The Successful Applicant Will Have CA or CPA qualification.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ideally a 2nd mover from a Big4 or Mid-tier firm.Prior experience managing a small team (desired).Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and changing environment.4+ years of experience as a Senior Accounting professional, preferably in the property or construction sector.How to Apply To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
