This role forms part of our National Estimating & Purchasing team. This role works closely with our amazing internal team and external customers.Based at our Head Office in Darra, Stoddart Group is looking for a strong candidate to take the wheel and drive our National Estimating and Purchasing (NEP) team to deliver excellence to our customers. The Group Estimating & Purchasing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the overall estimation process for all business products. With a strong understanding of the residential construction industry, the successful candidate will have a keen eye for business improvements, seeking opportunities to improve efficiencies and maximising existing internal processes, systems and platforms. You will be a strong leader; ready to influence, guide and mentor your team to both organisational and personal growth and success.Duties of the role include (but certainly are not limited to):Leadership and development of team both locally and offshore.Develop a 12-month NEP operational plan, including department KPI's aligning with business goals and objectivesReview, improve and maximise internal systems and processes to ensure efficiencies across the departmentEnsure estimating price models are maintained, updated and reflective of all cost variables.
