In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for managing the merchandise assortment across our Sterling Silver Ladies range, ensuring our offerings align with business objectives and resonate with our customers.
Your expertise will guide the selection of promotional products, driving strategies that maximise profitability and enhance our brand presence.
Collaborating with internal marketing and operational teams, you'll implement initiatives that support our retail goals and elevate the customer experience.

What will you do? Proactively manage and develop product ranges that align with company strategy, considering pricing, packaging, and market trends.Create and execute short- and long-term pricing strategies to meet financial objectives for each division.Work with the Marketing Department on packaging and display materials and contribute to marketing plans.Source merchandise that enhances competitive positioning.Conduct regular analysis of sales, margins, and stock levels to achieve financial targets and identify improvement opportunities.Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends to ensure product competitiveness and effective pricing.Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms, pricing, and product exclusivity.Oversee promotional product offerings including catalogue assortments in alignment with marketing strategies to maximise profitability.Help to develop training materials and provide guidance on product knowledge and merchandising to store teams.Adhere to company policies and promote a safe work environment, reporting incidents and hazards as necessary.What skills and experience do you need? 5+ years of experience as a buyer, preferably in fashion and/or fine jewellery.Skilled in overseas sourcing, design, and packaging development.Proven ability to achieve favourable outcomes through effective communication.Knowledge of promotional activities and strategies.Excellent quantitative and analytical skills/ strong attention to detail.Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel.Ability to plan and forecast stock requirements effectively.Team player with a track record of mentoring and guiding team members.This is a fantastic opportunity to work with the largest jewellery retailer in Australia.
