As an Assistant Project Manager, you will ensure the timely completion of projects in two areas: data management (dashboards, reports, data lakes, and data security) and custom technical solutions. You will oversee project deployments, gather feedback, and manage project improvements and maintenance.
Location – Ahmedabad (Gujarat), India.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage project timelines for both data management and development wings, ensuring timely delivery of all projects. Oversee deployment processes and verify that projects meet quality standards and specifications. Collect feedback from stakeholders and team members post-deployment to assess project performance and areas for improvement. Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Monitor project progress, provide updates to stakeholders, and facilitate communication between teams. Assist in maintaining and improving existing projects, ensuring they continue to meet business needs. Help in resource allocation and project planning to optimize team performance, project delivery on time and productivity. What we require (Desired Skills and abilities)
Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.). Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Familiarity with data management concepts, including dashboards, reports, and data lakes. Understanding of software development processes and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address project challenges. Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across teams. Experience:
2+ years of experience in project management or a related role, preferably in a data or software development environment. Proven experience in coordinating projects with multiple stakeholders and ensuring timely delivery. Qualifications:
Any Bachelor's degree preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, CAPM, or similar) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
