About the role Are you ready to play a key role in driving financial accuracy and efficiency?
As a Group Accounts Payable Officer, you will be at the heart of the accounts payable process, ensuring seamless payment operations across the business.
With a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on compliance, you'll manage high-volume transactions, process invoices, and resolve any discrepancies while maintaining excellent relationships with stakeholders.

What will you do?
Accurately verify and approve payments, ensuring all discrepancies are resolved swiftly.
Process stock and non-stock invoices on time, using 3-way matching to ensure payment accuracy.
Handle high-volume manual invoices efficiently, maintaining a smooth workflow.
Manage expense reports for out-of-pocket, petty cash, and corporate card claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Investigate and resolve EFT rejections, minimising disruptions to payment processing.
Reconcile supplier accounts by reviewing and verifying monthly statements.
Address and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and compliance improvements, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What skills and experience do you need?
3 to 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, with a thorough understanding of financial processes.
Proficient in using large ERP systems, such as SAP, to streamline accounts payable operations.
Advanced MS Excel skills, with experience in complex data analysis and reporting.
Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
Highly adaptable, with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
Solid data entry and administrative skills, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
