About your new role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organisation's general ledgers and associated reconciliations, and for maintaining high-quality internal and external financial reporting for the group.

Some of the key tasks associated with this role include:

Lead the month-end process for the teamLead and mentor a small teamGroup consolidation and reportingPrepare statutory/external accountsManage the Treasury function and Chart of AccountsWorking capital managementManagement of group trial balancesOversee and lead team in Balance sheet reconciliation, P&L reporting, cashflow reportingAssist in annual budget and forecasting process
About You
The successful candidate for this role will be someone who looks beyond the reported numbers and has a curious mindset to analyse the data produced. This role will have a high level of exposure to the Executive Leadership Team, therefore experience managing senior stakeholders is preferred. This role will suit a CA qualified second mover.

You will be CA qualified.
You will have 5-7 years experience in a similar technical accounting role.
You will have experience within a fast-paced environment.
You can demonstrate sound system skills, particularly with MS Excel, and have previous exposure to mid-tier ERP systems.
Interpersonally, you communicate in a professional and transparent style and present yourself in a corporate manner. You will see yourself as a true business partner and thrive in a stakeholder-driven environment.
