12 month fixed term contract opportunity Listed mining business About Our Client My client is a listed mining company based in Perth's CBD.
They maintain global operations and are headquartered out of WA.
Job Description Month end group consolidation, reporting and analysis to senior executives and the Board Manage accounts payable function at Head Office Manage accounting function for all exploration and support services at Head Office Preparation of the annual statutory accounts Preparation of the quarterly, half-yearly and year end reporting requirements for the group's parent company Co-ordinate and prepare the Group's operating budgets and forecasts Associated analysis and reporting requirements Review and manage the indirect tax functions for the Group including FBT, Payroll tax and GST Maintain, review and update the Group's accounting policies, procedures and accounting systems in a timely manner Assist in managing the audit function for the group ensuring group requirements are met in a professional and timely manner Assist in internal audit function of the group Assist in other ad-hoc reporting requirements including Mandarin to English translation The Successful Applicant To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have Mandarin / Chinese language skills.
In addition, you will have experience in a similar role, ideally in the commercial / mining sector.
Candidates looking to make their first move from 'Big 4' will also be considered for the role.
If you also have previous experience with Pronto, this would be highly desirable.
