Job Description The Employer
This business is about to enter a long-term growth phase that will create opportunities that are both highly commercial and appealing to career-minded finance professionals. The business is a global market leader within a large and highly competitive industry.
The Role
This role will provide you access to high-profile people from both within and external to the accounting functions. The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality corporate reporting and analytics from a group perspective.
Responsibilities include:

Preparation of quarterly and annual accounting disclosure schedules Responsible for the statutory financial reporting of all overseas subsidiaries, ensuring that financial reporting is accurate and lodged in a timely manner. Coordination of the annual audit timetable, including liaising with Finance Managers to ensure that information is available to auditors in a timely manner. Provide technical accounting advice as requested by the business, in a clear and concise manner. Update and maintain company accounting policies in line with global policies and the latest accounting standards. Provide training to all business on the impact of new accounting changes, as relevant. Identify and implement process improvement for the statutory reporting process.
The Successful Applicant
Will hold a professional accounting qualification (CPA / CA or similar). Experience working in a leading chartered firm making their first move into commerce OR have performed a similar Group Finance role working for another fast-paced large company (listed or multinational). You will be an energetic and natural communicator with the ability to liaise effectively with business leaders and those who have a non-financial background. Engage with others collaboratively, and work to a high standard with accuracy and deliver on time. Enjoy working as part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple stakeholders.
